It took a few hours of work but its done and it’s pretty good if I do say so myself . Going to have Kreinbring correct it tommorrow and that means I only have to do the Background sources and the Bibliography and I will be done. Never thought I’d make it to the promised land Alleluia!, Alleluia!

Only two days left until the paper is due and I take the AP English Test. I have to write the general introduction and background sources but other than that I’m good. Just want to finish and get it over with.

Not Sure about this article

I want to write a criticism about this one article which uses Watership Down as way to teach leadership to students. It talks about various leadership techniques in the book but it goes through a lot of the material. Thought it was interesting but not sure whether or not I can write about it.

I have finally decided to get info for my paper from the OU library. Helpful hint below:

To skip paying for copies at the library, look at the article as a pdf. Then save it to the desktop under a name you recognize and email yourself. Did this for both this and Paradise Lost. Must give credit for the idea to a very helpful librarian I encountered while researching Paradise Lost.

Finished Watership Down

I have finished Watership Down and can honestly say I enjoyed it. Maybe it’s because I am a male and more inclined to accept what Adams wrote. My favorite part of the book is how human the rabbit’s seem. They demonstrate our inner evils through General Woundwort and clever and righteous we can be through either Bigwig or Hazel. I recommend that if you have not read this book, read it.

WARNING: Their is some misogyny so if you are offended by that forget my previous remark and DO NOT READ THIS NOVEL.

Half Way Done

I am about halfway done with the novel and it’s very interesting how the rabbits are portrayed. They are the equivalent in my opinion of prehistoric people. They can reason and think but most of the world is still mystical, and mysterious. Richard Adams does an excellent job of highlighting our baser instincts and how we think.

Have finally got around to putting up this post. Have no idea what i am going to read but am leaning towards Watership Down. Anybody have any suggestions for or against this novel?
